Spoonfuls Of Glitter

Love, Life, Light & Plenty Of Glitter

Hi I’m Jen and this is my blog, thank you so much for visiting. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and suffer daily from Chronic Pain and Chronic Fatigue.

This blog will hopefully inspire, uplift, make you laugh and maybe make you cry. It’s about celebrating the good and surviving the bad. It’s about looking good, feeling good and facing each day with a smile!

I raise awareness via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and now this blog for all things chronic, invisible and debilitating.

This blog is different though and isn’t purely about awareness. This blog will hopefully help make the days of other women suffering and coping with Chronic Illness, Mental Illness, Chronic Pain, Disability and Trauma that little bit brighter.

This blog is also for all the Mums out there and not just the Mums in pain.

This blog is for all the beautiful, strong, amazing Mums out there that don’t always get the time for themselves, the ‘Mums on the run!’ It’s a tough job raising little people so this blog is here to inspire you to do more for you and inject some glitter back into your life!

After finding ways to cope with my own chronic pain, illnesses and mobility difficulties, I want to share the things that make me smile (my glitter) in the hope it may make others in the same situation feel less alone.

Glitter doesn’t just mean the sparkly stuff, glitter is all the things in life that make me smile. If they make me smile, I’m hoping they will make you smile too!

I have 18 years experience in the beauty industry so want to help others by using the wealth of knowledge I have gained over the years, offering tips, tricks and advice for looking your best when you are feeling your worst.

There will be lots of tips and tricks for all, any age, any size and any ability. I will post product reviews and posts about skincare and beauty amongst many other things.

This blog isn’t just for the chronically sick or in pain out there but as our various illnesses and pain are often classed as ‘invisible,’ this blog is all about shouting from the rooftops that we are here and making some serious style statements!

Just because we are classed as having an invisible illness, doesn’t mean we have to be!

Spoonie’s need spoons so let’s fill them with glitter!

This blog will contain daily inspiration, fashion tips, hair inspiration, makeup inspiration and all things girly, fun and fabulous in between.

There will be fun times and hard times, I am passionate about raising awareness for people who are suffering alone so feel it’s important to share not only my own journey, but also the journey of others!

Please reach out if you’d like the support of others who understand and if you’d like to share your journey, I’m here and ready to listen!
